The White Rabbit Gallery is a contemporary art museum based in Chippendale, NSW. The gallery was first opened in 2009 and their opening hours is from Wednesdays to Sundays from 9am to 5am where they exhibit one of the most significant collections through Chinese contemporary art.
Dedicated and Inspired work made in the 21st century, the gallery is owned by Judith Neilsen, whom her trip to Beijing in 2001 has encouraged her to establish the gallery to share the Chinese art world for the wider public including visitors from worldwide.
Furthermore, Nielsen was praised by the vast creativity and monumental concepts of the artworks she has saw herself that led into purchasing the artworks designed and made from China which led into shipping and exhibiting them in Chippendale.
Neilsen is also a regular visitor to China and Taiwan from time to time to increase her artistic hobbies and commitment within Asian art.
Since its inception to the gallery in 2009 by approximately early 2016; almost 2000 artworks created by more than 500 artists have been exhibited at the gallery.
The building of the gallery is in house of a former warehouse and Rolls Royce service depot in the 1940s, was completely refitted as an exhibition space. Since the gallery is small, the gallery can only house only a certain number of collections which they can only hold two collections every six months.
The gallery has a tea house and savouries alongside the reception at the ground flood including 3 upper floors where the artworks are exhibited.

‘‘ When I first walked up the stairs, it’s a bit confronting.’’ Alex.
‘‘When I first look at the artworks, it looks more disturbing when it makes more sense without reading but overall when you exit the gallery I think the building is a fabulous gallery.’’ Rex.
